Ten-year-old Moli is the son of the Kung-Fu Tea stall owner at the night market. However, he likes bubble tea, their rival, and hanging out with Peanut, who is the daughter of a bubble tea stall owner. Moli thinks that aliens exist and discovers that the alien spy Ko-Ko wants to steal bubble tea. Why? Because it can be used as energy on his home planet. No adults believes Moli; therefore, he needs to protect bubble tea and stop alien invasion with Peanut and other magical creatures at the night market. Meanwhile, there is a secret that Ko-Ko has not realized — the energy only works when bubble tea is mixed with Kung-Fu tea. Will he uncover the truth?

Guebo, the ogre boy, appears to be 10 years old, but he has lived here for 1,200 years. A thousand years ago, there was a great war between Yokai and humans. The story centers around temple youth Wei, who discovers the benefits of being a holdout when his grandfather urgently needs money for surgery. In order to get more money out of property developers, Wei teams up with Rainy, a girl opposed to community reconstruction, to apply for historical landmark status for the temple his grandfather left him.

From performing traditional religious ceremonies to participating in a global singing and dancing competition, Wei and Rainy’s efforts to enhance the value of the temple capture the attention of the public. As their relationship grows over time, they also find themselves torn between family, friendship, and even love.
